Over 150 new international Students! |
Fontys Venlo is becoming more and more international. In August 2011, 158 students from abroad arrived at the multicultural student city of Venlo. 66 of these are fulltime Bachelor and Master students from France, Colombia, Spain, Bulgaria, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland, Slovakia, India, Romania, Morocco, Cameroon, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania and China. The other 92 are exchange students from amongst others Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Finland, South Korea, Austria, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Germany, Taiwan, Hungary, Malaysia, Turkey, Russia, Czech Republic and Poland.
All new international students have a buddy that accompanies and helps them during the first weeks. All buddies are second year students that already know Fontys Venlo and therefore are able to help the new students.
