Fontys International Campus in Venlo has decided to develop an optimal environment to combine sports and 
education. An environment where athletes are able to perform optimally… in each area! An athlete who has got great ambitions will probably not have himself restricted when it comes down to studying. Trying to achieve the highest score is the mentality of a true winner.
As of September 2007 Fontys International Campus in Venlo is the official partner in study and topsport of VVV Venlo. Topsport club Voetbal Verening Venlo and the International Campus have decided on certain agreements for the VVV players who decide to study at our campus.

Study Career Management
When you decide to choose for a study course offered at our campus you can count on a personal study career manager. This person is the link between your study course and your sports career. Together you will have a close look at your personal situation concerning sports and your studies and you will make plans how to finish your bachelor degree in four years time.
Help with your study choice
When you are not sure yet which study course you would like to choose, we can always try to help you make that decision. You can make an appointment with our student counselor or one of our study career managers.
Fine tuning your study programme with your training schedule
Agreements will be recorded together with your study career manager. Where necessary, you will be offered extra help by our lecturers. Beside this aspect, agreements should be made with regard to your examination schedule, especially when certain bottlenecks might occur. At the beginning of each academic year and often also before the start of the sports season, these agreements need to be made.
Fine tuning your study programme with matches and tournaments
When the student/ athlete will be absent for several weeks due to sports obligations, certain measures need to be taken. This means among others: the planning of attending missed lectures and distance learning.
Help with work placement at companies and organisations
Fontys International Campus has got several contacts with companies and organisations, which show understanding for the position of the sportsman/woman and give room to the student to carry out their sports.
